Lacryma Christi del Vesuvio DOC Bianco, Terredora 2021

Terredora has 125 hectares of prime vineyards in Campania, including some of Southern Italy's most renowned DOCG regions. Among them are a single vineyard on the slopes of Mt Vesuvius where the unusual Coda di Volpe ('tail of the fox') variety is grown and used un-blended for their striking Lacryma Christi Bianco: tropical scented, clean, precise with lively citrus fruit then a bracing mineral freshness, a little like a Falanghina but with a touch more weight.
