Quinta de la Rosa Tutored Tasting - Thursday 12th December 2024

With Christmas on the horizon and following the success of last year's superb Nieepoort tasting, join us for an exploration of another of Porto's finest independent producers, Quinta de la Rosa. Simon Hore of specialist UK importer Thorman Hunt will take us through some of the range of this small estate near Pinhao (first established in 1906 and still family-owned) including table wines and the various fortified types, all beautifully crafted and very classical in style. La Rosa has the distinction of being one of the few single-quintas to have vineyards reaching from the right bank of the Douro river all the way to a height of some 450m and encompassing no fewer than 11 microclimates. A selection of light food is included in the ticket price and all the wines will be available to order on the night.
