Macon-Davaye, Domaine de la Croix Senaillet 2022

Brothers Richard and Stéphane Martin took over this estate from their father in 1992 and they now farm 25 hectares in total, spread over 52 individual vineyard parcels, all of which have been certified organic since 2010. They mostly produce Saint-Veran and have just three hectares in Macon-Davayé where they make an expressive, very pure Chardonnay without any oak, full of fresh citrus notes and wonderfully balanced.
