Bandol Rose, Domaine Tempier 2019

Surely one of the finest rose wines, from the spiritual home of the style: Provence. Domaine Tempier, sitiated on the plain below La Cadiere d'Azur, are perhaps best known for their magnificent red wines but just under half the production every vintage is of their pink. This is serious, complex and age-worthy rose with bright, structured fruit and hints of garrigue, textured and elegant but bracingly dry. Very impressive and available only in small quantities.
