Aglianico 'Beneventano', Vesevo 2022

 A perennial favourite and excellent value example of the noble Aglianico variety from the Vesevo winery, situated in the Irpinian hills of Campania with the vineyards at 450-700m above sea level and cooled by the sea breeze from the Bay of Naples. The Aglianico grapes are grown in the warmer area of Beneventano, resulting in a ripe, characterful wine full of red cherry and raspberry notes with supple tannin and a smooth finish with some warming spice and hints of vanilla.
