Cotes du Rhone Blanc, Domaine de l'Espigouette 2023

Bernard Latour, now ably assisted by his two sons Julien and Emilen, is invariably a source of authentic, characterful and very well made wines, and his white Cotes du Rhone, a Viognier-based blend a portion of which is vinified in demi muids (large 600l oak barrels), is no exception: bright and lively with ripe, juicy peach and apricot, a touch of vanilla and honeysuckle, and an attractive slightly mineral freshness on the finish.
