Rioja 'Inedito' 3/3, Bodegas Lacus 2021

Lacus is one of the most exciting new small-scale wineries in Rioja Baja, with 15 hectares (spread across seven parcels, some with very old vines, all harvested by hand) owned by Luis Arnedo working alongside co-winemaker Olivier Riviere. Annual production is just 20,000 bottles across the Inedito range of four wines. Their 3/3 (a blend of the region's three typical red varieties) is a terrific example of lively, fruit-driven modern-style Rioja made without any oak and bottled unfiltered.
