Greensand Ridge Wealden Rum (50cl)
Long-awaited, and the perfect drink for cold winter evenings, this is Will Edge's Kentish rum, made from scratch using surplus molasses from sugar production and aged in oak barrels. This isn't heavily sweetened or spiced like many commercial rums but smooth and delicate, with floral and honeycomb notes and a suggestion of roast cobnuts. Too good to mix, in my opinion, but you could try it long with crisp (preferably Kentish) apple juice or ginger ale.
